Orbit Stroller Review
Orbit strollers were created by designers who wanted to take the headache out of traveling with
infants and toddlers. Parents themselves, they created three systems for each stage of a child’s
development. The Orbit light weight stroller, the Orbit Toddler travel system, and the car seat
are compatible with each other and remove many of the problems other strollers still have.
Orbit strollers are considered a luxury item by some and they have a luxury price too, but they
are an engineer’s dream and very user friendly. The all-in-one system includes a base, infant car
seat and stroller frame. The car seat rotates on the car seat base and the stroller frame, so it is
very easy to maneuver. Part of the genius of this stroller is the one-handed levers. The circular
base makes it possible to unlock and unload in one swift move. It also collapses with a one-hand
pull on the stroller base and reclines for napping with a one-handed lever.
When the baby grows out of the infant seat, usually when they reach 22 pounds or 29 inches
long, the Orbit Toddler Stroller seat will fit on the same stroller base. This will not double as a
car seat as the infant seat did. There is also an Orbit Toddler Car Seat available. The stroller seat
is suitable for children six months old and up to 40 pounds.
There are three color options, mocha/khaki, red, and black/slate, all of which look sleek. The
pneumatic tires give a smooth ride so the passenger can sleep, while making it easy for the
driver. Also, for the driver’s convenience, are two cup holders, a basket and adjustable handles.
One of the most useful features is the ability for the seat to rotate 360 degrees whether in the car
or on the stroller base, so the baby can be positioned easily in a restaurant, car, or park.
The Orbit Stroller has a full sunshade that blocks 99.99 percent of UVA and UVB radiation; the
upholstery is reversible and easily removable for machine washing. The fabric is eco-friendly
and suitable for a baby’s skin. It also has a removable support bar and 5-point harness for safety.
The Orbit Stroller is attractive and versatile. The price is high with added costs as different seats
need to be bought, but it is a luxury item and worth the investment for baby safety and parent
convenience.
